Coppersmith Village is comprised of a mid-rise apartment building and sepa-rate townhome structures. The buildings are named after the rich heritage of wooden ship repair yards that once occupied the location on the waterfront in East Boston.

The entire finish concept is an homage to the history of this site: with rich metal materials, wave patterned tiles, and concrete floors with exposed “beach aggregate”. Finishes were also selected in compliance with Boston building codes with partially raised ground floor construction and “impervious” materials to provide storm surge protection.
